Woodstock Foundry

Project Description

Situated in one of Cape Town’s emerging boroughs, Woodstock. The foundry finds itself providing a transparent oasis in the busy streets of Woodstock. With a combination of designed light wells, outdoor gardens and porous façades, the structure provides a skeleton which accentuates the beauty of the artisan. These characteristics can be seen in the use of materials, handcrafted sculptures and features by local artists as well as boasting an array of small local business traders, all bringing their own unique fingerprints to the space.
