Project Description

The creation of a tranquil, studious internal environment was of paramount importance in the design of the study centre, yet providing ample opportunity for interfaces with the natural surround during pause time.The facility seats 782 students and comprises of CDIO facilities [conceptualize, design implement and operate] discussion rooms, information cubicles and individual study cubicles. The centre provides views onto the wetland landscapes surrounding the facility as well as exceptional vistas onto the Old Arts Building.
