Aula at UP

Project Description

The project brief called for refurbishments to the existing Aula at the University of Pretoria. The auditorium facility needed to be upgraded and better accessibility for the physically challenged was important. The overall flow of movement within the building needed to improve and strict heritage principles had to be considered at all times. A lift  for the movement impaired was installed and sections of the interior have been preserved with evidence of the heritage construction.
