Beacon Bay Precinct
Project Description
East London is in the midst of transformation and upgrading. Beacon bay precinct has become an instrumental node of the city’s demand for evolution, which orchestrated the design principles used. Offering a mixed use framework, Beacon Bay boasts a 7 storey office tower and a 13 storey boutique hotel, cinema and spa all connected by meandering forms and landscape designs which make up the retail component. The design was shaped by the encounter of flexibility of space and future expansion of the area. As a result, the meandering forms allow the towers to be framed by its organic play. In turn, the design conceived a public space, rather than an infrastructure.
