Project Description

Situated at one of the major intersections on the great East Road, the new access route and infrastructure merited the centre to be upgraded and expanded. The proposal addresses better access from all sides and accommodates the expansion of current taxi and bus support. The recently upgraded hotel and casino gave further motivation to leisure and after-hour activities. The major community support for the Pakatie Sunday Market gave reason to extend the central market space for trading during the weekdays as well. Restaurants and leisure activities placed around the newly defined square supports public interaction.
